ROHS - Are your designs optimised for Lead Free

With the introduction of the RoHS Directive on July 1st 2006, the majority of printed circuit boards will need to be assembled using lead free solder and surface finishes.
Although the biggest impact will be to the assembly process itself, there are changes that may need to made to existing designs if they are to be successfully populated. Working closely with our own assembly department, HCD have identified key areas that call for special attention when dealing with lead free assembly.
